MLB The Show 21 Video Recaps

Instead of a blog post, today I’m expanding Astrology Baseball into the video space! I’ve already written about how I’ve been systematically editing the rosters of my copy of MLB The Show 21 to reflect the astrology signs, and now you finally get to see the first fruits of my labors!

The roster portion of this video only shows the top nine players on each team, so you’ll have to stay tuned to future videos to get a more complete picture. But you also get a first look at the custom uniforms I created for each sign, albeit only the home uniforms, and only from the waist up. Again, you’ll get a better view in future videos…

Such as the SECOND video that went live today: a recap of the first relevant game in the MLB The Show 21 Astrology Baseball season. (Since the astrology signs make up only 12 of the teams in the league, the majority of the rosters are filled with replacement level players.) This one features the Sagittarius Archers taking on the Gemini Twins.

As I explain in my first video, the National League Central represents the Positive Mutable signs, which means these signs are represented by the Cubs and the Pirates, respectively. This is only apparent in terms of divisional placement and home stadium, although I did model my custom uniforms on those two teams (except for color scheme, in SAG’s case).

I won’t spoil how the game ends - you’ll have to watch the video to find out. In my next post, I’ll continue my trip backwards through FABL history, but as I get further into this simulated season, expect to see more resources devoted to these video recaps.
