Cancer vs Pisces on MLB The Show 22

If you’ve been following this series of simulated Fantasy Astrology Baseball videos on YouTube, you might notice that I’ve already posted games featuring Pisces and Cancer. The Fish took on the Virgo Flowers in a game that took place on April 7th in the simulated calendar, while the Crabs had a tilt against Capricorn the very next day. But there are several reasons why I’m returning to each of these teams.

The first is evident on the right side of the thumbnail: starting pitcher Shohei Ohtani is on the mound for the Crabs, in a season where he’s attempting to defend his Negative Polarity MVP award. It’s strange that the game’s AI doesn’t allow Ohtani to both pitch and bat in the same game (at least in the PS4 version), given the real-life rule put in place this season for just this specific purpose…

The second is to showcase the new Pisces uniforms I created for this season! I didn’t post any games with the 2021 Fish in the handful of simulation videos I made for MLB The Show 2021, but I made a couple of changes from my initial attempt at making custom uniforms.

The first was that I chose a more muted powder blue as the main color, in place of the highlighter-esque cyan that I used in 2021. The second is that I made their away uniforms powder blue on both the pants and the jerseys, the only sign to get such treatment. (Everyone else has gray pants, to go with jerseys of their main color.) I figure as the last sign on the zodiac wheel, Pisces has earned the right for a little experimentation.

Next time I’ll review the new additions to my career fantasy points database that took place in the 1970s. But in the meantime, enjoy Shohei Ohtani and the Crabs battling Kyle Schwarber and the Fish!
