Leo vs Aquarius on MLB The Show 22

It’s time for another Fantasy Astrology Simulation video on YouTube! This time, we have Leo taking on Aquarius in a matchup of the two Cardinal signs in the Positive Polarity. Check out the game (and the somewhat predictable result) in the embedded video below:

More than anything else, this video highlights some questionable roster construction decisions for Leo. The first one that comes up is having J.D. Martinez in the outfield while Luis Robert serves as the DH, despite the fact that the latter has a might better defensive rating. That’s because Mike Trout is already in center field, and rather than shifting another center fielder to a corner spot, the computer decided to prioritize the player whose primary position is left field. I could probably have mitigated this problem by manually changing the primary positions of some of the players. But was worried that tinkering too much could have other, unforeseen consequences.

The other strange decision was handing the starting third base job to Pablo Sandoval, rather than an actual MLB third baseman, such as Yandy Diaz, Wilmer Flores, Hunter Dozier, or Brandon Drury - although to be fair, there’s no way the computer could have predicted Drury’s out of nowhere All-Star caliber season. This one is completely my fault, because of a shortcut I used while building the rosters. Rest assured, if/when I decide to re-balance these lineups during the All-Star break, I’ll do things differently.

I’ll return to the 1970s in my reverse-chronological trip through FABL history next time, but for now, enjoy Adalberto Mondesi and the Lions taking on Hunter Renfroe and the Water Bearers!
