1962 World Series Teams
1962 was the last Fantasy Astrology recap that I got to during the 2022 season, which is indeed what kicked off the whole “years ending in 2” project of the last several weeks. The real-life 1962 season culminated in a World Series where the New York Yankees defeated the San Francisco Giants.
1962 Fantasy Astrology Recap
1962 saw the addition of two new teams in the National League: the New York Mets and the franchise that would later become the Houston Astros. That means that, in reverse-chronological terms, 1962 is the LAST year where the Major Leagues had as many as 20 teams – that is, until the Negro Leagues in the late 40’s, which of course were not recognized as Major Leagues at the time.
