Pisces vs. Virgo on MLB The Show 22

In order to keep the content flowing during my ongoing Spring hiatus, I’m re-posting Astrology Baseball simulation videos on MLB The Show 22 from my YouTube channel. This one features the Pisces Fish against the Virgo Flowers, from way back in the first week of the season:

Keep in mind, the video game’s calendar does not reflect the lockout-altered schedule for the real-life 2022 season, so this game took place on the virtual date of April 7th. Last year, I explained the methodology that I used to connect the astrological signs to real-life teams, but as a reminder, Pisces is represented by the Yankees, while Virgo is linked to the Red Sox. You can read the above-linked posts to see how I arrived on the AL East to stand in for the Negative Mutable signs.

If you’re curious how I arrived at “Flowers” for Virgo’s nickname, it goes back to the book Astro Poets by Alex Dimitrov and Dorothea Lasky. The front cover shows the karmic wheel, with fun illustrated representations for each sign, and the one for Virgo features a hand holding a single flower. I thought that was a more appropriate and gender-neutral nickname than the Maidens.
