Capricorn vs Cancer on MLB The Show 22
The third Astrology Baseball simulation video that I’ve posted on MLB The Show 22 is especially relevant, because the calendar just turned to Cancer Season. This game features the Crabs taking on one of their fellow Cardinal signs, the Capricorn Goats.
A quick word on the uniforms: it was tough to find a match for Cancer’s primary color of silver, since EVERY MLB team uses gray for their road uniforms. So I chose to model the Crabs after the Chicago White Sox, whose color scheme doesn’t include any color on the color wheel (not counting in the 1960’s and 70’s when they inexplicably wore red jerseys).
For Capricorn, their brown color is best approximated by the Padres, but San Diego is one of the newer teams in the league, established during the expansion boom in 1969. Since I’m trying to limit the astrology teams to MLB’s oldest franchises, I used the stark design of the Detroit Tigers uniforms to represent the Goats, but with San Diego’s brown instead of the traditional navy blue.
So enjoy watching Yordan Alvarez go head-to-head with Fernando Tatis Jr. and stay tuned for more videos!
